**Job Title**: Quality Officer (Building Maintenance)

**Job Summary**:

- Assist the Project Manager in developing and maintaining the project’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) system.
- Monitor all quality-related activities at the project site to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of materials, workmanship, processes, and systems.
- Review and verify method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality-related documentation.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, non-conformance reports (NCR), and corrective/preventive action reports.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and implement improvement plans.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment delivered to site meet quality requirements and are properly documented.
- Support internal and external quality audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
- Assist in training site personnel on quality awareness and ensure quality objectives are clearly communicated and understood.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all quality-related documents for the project.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities on matters related to quality.
- Ensure proper handover documentation and final quality inspections are completed before project closeout.
- Attend project coordination meetings to report on quality performance and raise any potential concerns.
- Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and recommend preventive actions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager, Project Director, or Management.
- Handle any quality-related tasks to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.

**Job Requirement**:

- Minimum 2 years of working experience in quality assurance/quality control, preferably in construction or facility maintenance.
- Diploma or Degree in Quality Management, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiar with ISO 9001 quality management systems and quality inspection standards.
- Required language(s): English and Bahasa Melayu.
- Good knowledge of construction standards, materials, and methods.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Able to identify problems proactively and implement corrective actions effectively.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to work with diverse teams and external parties.
- Willing to travel or be based at project sites when required.
- Able to work independently and maintain consistency in quality across project phases.
- High level of integrity, responsibility, and commitment to quality excellence.

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
