We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated **Building & Infrastructure Technical Lead (Manufacturing)** to join our business unit. This is a critical role in providing technical support and leading the technical and operations team in executing projects that the business unit has secured, particularly in **manufacturing sector**. In addition, this role will be responsible for supporting business development efforts through strong connections with the manufacturing clients and key industry players, deep understanding of technical knowledge, current market trends, and industry connections in the manufacturing sector in Malaysia. **Technical Leadership**: - Provide technical expertise and guidance to the technical and operations team in executing manufacturing projects. - Ensure the implementation of best practices, quality standards, and efficient processes in manufacturing operations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, improve productivity, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Quality Assurance. - Accountable for overall performance of the projects - Able to generate profitable contracts to the B&I Business Unit through resourcefulness and creative customer driven approach. **Business Development Support**: - Contribute to growth objective of the company through successful execution of B&I projects, with special focus on manufacturing sector. - Provide Business Development with technical support and lead. Promote B&I Services to Clients (existing and potential). - Stay abreast of current market trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements in the manufacturing industry in Malaysia. - Provide technical input and support to business development activities, including proposal development, feasibility studies, and client presentations. - Leverage existing industry connections and networks to identify potential business opportunities and strategic partnerships. - Support in defining and implement business plan, budget and resources for the B&I BU in coordination with N+1 and in line with corporate strategies. - Support in developing marketing strategies - Contribute to the implementation of the new business model based on long term service contract, project management and customer orientation focus. **Project Management**: - Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered within budget, timeline, and quality expectations. - Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues. - Communicate project updates, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and customer satisfaction. - Obtain, protect and manage License-to-Operate (local and global accreditations) where applicable - Progressive reports activities and results to N+, weekly/monthly, quarterly - Update and improvise project management manuals, plan, quality procedures where applicable to suit project needs - Supervise all works performed by the B&I members, subcontractors, ensure technical quality and timely delivery of services **Team Leadership**: - Achieve set objectives (technical, commercial and financial, including personal) - Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, promoting teamwork, innovation, and professional development among team members. - Set clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for the technical and operations team. - Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to team members, fostering their growth and career advancement. - Interview, select and recruit of B&I project staff, approve B&I project staff expenses, perform employee performance assessment. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field. Advanced degree/ master is a plus. - Having a minimum of 10 years of extensive experience in engineering / technical roles within the sectors of Building and Infrastructure, particularly in manufacturing industry in Malaysia. - Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, preferably in Malaysia and - Proven track
