Technical Director

To provide technical direction on business decisions and execution of specific projects.
- Overseeing the audio and visual production process
- Designing, setting up and operating production projects
- Providing technical support for productions, programs and events.
- Supporting and advising the technical and sales teams on financial needs.
- Working with production team to oversee the completion of projects and ensure that all technical needs are catered
- Provide equipment costs and setup time estimation
- Work with design team to come up with technical drawings
- Recommending and using new technologies to improve work for the plant
- Prepare departmental reports.
- Responsible for the Quality Control of the works in accordance with the approval plans & specifications
- Verify dimensional requirements
- Assisting the Sales Team with resolution of client complaints that are quality-related
- Performing audit, examination, inspection, surveillance and/or testing activities in accordance with the quality management system
- Maintaining the project remains on schedule and resolve technical and/or operational issues
- To collaborate with factory and R&D department on what customer and market requirement on the tiles quality and others outside information. This is for factory to improve in which part.
- Feed-back to factory the top defect or complaint from customer for their improvement
- Ensure team member perform site briefing and site supervision on timely basis.
- Organize training to domestic / technical team quarterly basis.

Skills and Knowledge
- Degree in Chemical/ Mech/ Civil or related degree
- 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing in Production Management, preferably in an Industry which requires Solid Handling (e.g. Ceramics or Building Materials etc.)
- Experience in managing a team
- Excellent Communication skills
- 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing in Production Management, preferably in an Industry which requires Solid Handling (e.g. Ceramics or Building Materials etc.)
- Additional experience in process engineering or technical project management
- Good knowledge and exposure of TPM culture
- Proficiency in Autonomous Maintenance
- Experience in continuous improvement projects in manufacturing
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
