**Responsibili**ti**es**
- The Finance Specialist will divide their responsibilities across **Interna**ti**onal Educa**ti**on Finance Specialist**(80%) and **Group General Finance**(20%) areas, ensuring streamlined financial management for both operational and student-related processes.

**Interna**ti**onal Educa**ti**on Finance Specialist (80% of Role)**:

- **Student Payment Management**: Track and manage payments from students and

support admissions with financial records.
- **CRM Finance Management**: Maintain and ensure the accuracy of student financial data in the CRM.
- **Receivables**: Track and recover commissions from providers, including invoicing and collections.
- **Payables**: Manage supplier trackers and prepare referral payments.
- **KPI Repor**ti**ng**: Prepare student acquisition and performance reports for

management.

**Group General Finance (20% of Role)**:
**Shared responsibility with the Finance Manager**
- **Accounts Payable**: Process supplier invoices and set up payments.
- **Expense Reports**: Manage staff expenses (company card and out-of-pocket).
- **Bank Reconcilia**ti**on**: Ensure accurate receipt and payment allocations in Xero.
- **Finance Mailbox**: Oversee and respond to finance-related communications.
- **Malaysia Branch Financial Management**
- Manage staff payroll, employee and branch expenses.
- Oversee commission collections, including invoicing and follow-ups.

**Key Qualifications and Atributes**
- **Educa**ti**onal Background**: Holds tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance. Professional post-tertiary qualifications such as CPA, CFA, MBA, or Masters completed or close to completion is highly desirable.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting or financial management.
- **Atten**ti**on to Detail**: Demonstrates high attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in
- financial processes.
- **Team Collabora**ti**on**: Capable of working both independently and within a broad team, in
- person and remotely, with strong communication and a customer service-oriented approach.
- **Growth-Oriented & Adaptability**: Thrives in a high-context startup environment, and can contribute towards establishing efficient workflows and institutionalizing processes in a rapidly evolving setup.
- **Language Ability**: Chinese, Malay, and English. Mandatory to know Chinese in both writing and speaking.

Pay: RM5,600.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
