As the Field Service Technician for Carrier focusing on New Equipment Modernization, your role encompasses a range of responsibilities essential to the successful execution of projects. You will diligently update project schedules to ensure timeliness and efficiency, while also meticulously documenting reports to track progress and outcomes. Acting as the key liaison with customers, you will establish and maintain professional relationships, providing them with support, guidance, and timely responses to their inquiries. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving customer issues promptly and effectively, utilizing your problem-solving skills to address various challenges that may arise. Moreover, you will be tasked with identifying and escalating more complex issues to ensure they are appropriately handled and resolved. As a Field Service Technician, you will have a range of critical responsibilities that are essential for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of refrigeration and HVAC equipment. These responsibilities include:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Maintenance and Repair**: Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair all refrigeration equipment, as well as troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment. This involves diagnosing problems, performing repairs, and ensuring that the equipment is functioning optimally.

**2. Site Management**: You will be tasked with managing all allocated service sites, overseeing the operation of various types of chillers (such as Centrifugal, Screw, and Reciprocating), and supervising maintenance activities carried out by other technicians. Effective site management is crucial for ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.

**3. Resource Management**: It is essential to monitor and optimize the use of resources to achieve customer objectives. This includes efficiently utilizing resources such as manpower, materials, and equipment to deliver high-quality service and support for HVAC equipment.

**4. Planning and Implementation**: You will be responsible for planning and implementing various maintenance activities for HVAC systems. This involves calculating requirements, developing plans, and executing them to ensure the efficient operation of equipment.

**5. Quality Assurance**:Evaluating approval systems for maintenance jobs, monitoring work instructions, and maintaining project deliverables are essential for maintaining quality standards. Coordinating with stakeholders to analyze project requirements and ensuring that projects are completed within the specified timeframe are also critical responsibilities.

**6. Auditing and Data Collection**: Conducting audits on HVAC systems, collecting data, and performing periodic evaluations are essential for identifying issues and ensuring that equipment operates efficiently. Monitoring logbooks, managing change processes, and resolving any issues that arise are crucial for maintaining system integrity.

- Diploma holder with strong experience
- Min 5 years of experience in hands on technician role
- Familiar with repairing and servicing
- Has understanding on air conditioning within HVAC field
