R&d Specialist

Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for ingredients, raw materials, packaging materials and production equipment for all product lines (Brice, Nuuna, Flour/Beverages)
- Conduct assessment on supplier sites, ensure adherence to regulatory standards
- Perform quality check on all incoming materials to ensure product quality meets specified standards
- Build suppliers database to reduce supply risk and to secure availability of resources to support the R&D projects
- Foster long-term, strategic relationships with key suppliers, address any quality issues and ensure alignment with Company objectives
- Coordinate internally (Product Development and QM & Regulatory Affairs) to align ingredient sourcing with product development needs and production schedules
- Provide input to R&D on ingredient functionality, availability, and alternatives during formulation development
- Stay updated on ingredient innovations, price trends, and emerging suppliers
- Maintain records of all ingredient specifications, test results, supplier certifications, and compliance documentation
- Identify opportunities for cost saving while maintaining the quality and standards
- Prepare costing report for Management review
- Address ad-hoc tasks given by direct manager as needed to ensure seamless operations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
