The Assistant IT Manager supports the IT Manager in overseeing the company’s technology infrastructure, systems, and services. They help manage IT projects, assist in troubleshooting technical issues, and ensure smooth operations of hardware, software, and network systems. This role often serves as a point of contact for team members and other departments on IT-related issues.

**Key Responsibilities**

Technical Support
- Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist users with technical queries and ensure that problems are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Modify / update / support the Firm website requirements as needed.
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT helpdesk, escalating issues as necessary.

System and Network Maintenance
- Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of servers, workstations, and other systems.
- Help ensure that systems are updated, backed up, and running securely on daily basis.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and support of new network systems and devices.
- Review / update / maintain administration of IT assets and software audit regularly as needed.
- Provide 1st level support by identifying, resolving and escalating the problems to vendors to ensure service commitment is met and problems are solved.
- Set up online court hearing facilities, online meeting facilities such as webcam, headset, projector and others related hardware.

Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and offer technical solutions.
- Provide training to staff on new systems, software, or processes as needed.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or network management.
- Familiarity with hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, security best practices, and cloud services.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Project management experience is a plus.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency with operating systems
- Networking skills, including knowledge of LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls.
- Experience with IT service management tools
- Knowledge of backup systems and disaster recovery procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,400.00 - RM6,400.00 per month
