Accounts Executive

**Working Day/ Hour / Location**
- Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM
- Pasir Gudang, Johor Darul Ta’zim

**Job Scope**
- Assist in month end closing.
- Liaison with bankers, auditors, tax agents & statutory authorities, corporate secretary and required documents preparation.
- Responsible for partial set of accounts.
- Assist in preparing monthly accounts and quarterly reports.
- Assist to prepare monthly tax schedules.
- To ensure adherence to strict month end, quarter end and year end deadlines.
- To shorten the accounts closing period. (the number of days required)
- To ensure timely and accurate completion of managements reports and financial statements.
- To be responsible for accuracy of figures to ensure report quality.
- To ensure the quality and improve the quality of all the reports prepared by accounts staff.
- Interact closely with Singapore Branch Office / India Office / Indonesia Office staff and professional firm.

**AR**
- Monitor and oversee day-to-day Accounts Receivable (AR) matters.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of daily receipt voucher and updating of cash book.
- Responsible for the AR function and the accuracy.
- Ensure AR function is executed in an efficient and competent.
- Ensure credit assessments are properly performed in line with the compliance of internal policies, guidelines and procedures.

**AP**
- Monitor and oversee day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) matters.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of payment voucher and updating of cash book daily.
- Responsible for the AP function and the accuracy.
- Ensure credit assessments are properly performed in line with the compliance of internal policies, guidelines and procedures.

**GL**
- Monitor and oversee day-to-day General Ledger (GL) matters.

**Fixed Assets**
- Monitor Fixed Assets Recognition & Inspection.

**Inventory**
- Inventory control by preparing several types of reports.

**Management Accounts**
- Assist to handle full / partial set of accounts.
- Assist in preparing and delivering the Management Accounts on time.

**Auditing**
- Assist to prepare auditing reports.

**SST (GST)**
- Monitor GST preparation and submission.
- Check GST website frequently and update Accounts Staff.

**Corporate Tax & Other Taxes**
- Assist to attend to tax related matters such as tax estimation, corporate tax submission, withholding tax.
- To liaise or interface with government tax authorities and tax agents on tax matters.
- Familiar with Malaysia taxation regulations & statutory requirement to ensure compliance with local regulations relating to taxation.

**Requirement**
- At least a Diploma / Degree in Accounting / Finance / Taxation / Banking / Business Management / Economics or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years related working experience in related field.
- Good in cost accounting. (Familiarize in absorption costing will be an advantage)
- Well knowledge in taxation. (Such as, Deferred Tax, Withholding Tax, Corporate Tax, SST & etc)
- Well versed with the local accounting, taxation and SST requirements and ensure compliance.
- Good in monitoring, lead and guide and ensure the team is follow prefixed SOP, timeline, not to simplify the jobs by skipping the procedures or steps, ensure all the financial data and report are accurate and consistent among the reports, etc.
- Willing to perform hand on jobs and ad-hoc assignments and prepare ad-hoc reports required by management and any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.
- Good in Excel, PowerPoints etc.
- Able to meet tight schedule for submission by cut-off date and deadline.
- Possess own transport.

**Others**:

- Transport allowance: RM150
- Meal subsidy: RM100
- Insurance provided

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
