Key Responsibilities:

- **Sample Preparation**:Preparing and labeling samples for testing, which may involve using various laboratory equipment and following specific protocols.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:Cleaning, sterilizing, and calibrating laboratory equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
- **Basic Testing**:Performing routine laboratory tests under supervision, such as pH testing or bacterial culturing.
- **Data Management**:Recording and organizing data from experiments, including transferring information to computer formats and generating reports.
- **Inventory Management**:Monitoring lab supplies, ensuring adequate stock, and assisting with ordering replacements.
- **Quality Control**:Participating in quality control procedures to maintain the accuracy and reliability of lab results.
- **Safety Compliance**:Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures when handling hazardous materials and working in the lab.
- **Assistance to Senior Staff**:Providing support to senior lab personnel in various tasks, including research projects and experiments.
- **Clerical Duties**:Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and maintaining lab documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:

- **Scientific Background**: A strong understanding of basic scientific principles and laboratory procedures.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in using various laboratory equipment and performing basic tests.
- **Attention to Detail**: Accuracy in recording data, labeling samples, and following instructions.
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain a tidy workspace, and keep track of inventory.
- **Communication Skills**: Effectively communicating with team members, reporting results, and following instructions.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Identifying and resolving minor issues with equipment or procedures.
- **Physical Stamina**: The ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
- **Safety Awareness**: A strong commitment to safety and adherence to all lab safety regulations.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
