Lecturer, Ophthalmology

**Teaching and Instruction**:

- Develop and deliver lectures, seminars, and practical sessions to medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Create and update course materials, syllabi, and instructional resources.

Facilitate interactive learning experiences, case discussions, and hands-on clinical training.

**Clinical Supervision**:

- Oversee and mentor students and residents during clinical rotations and patient care.
- Provide guidance on the diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic conditions.
- Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards in patient care.

**Research and Scholarly Activities**:

- Conduct and publish research in ophthalmology-related fields.
- Encourage and guide students in research projects and academic endeavors.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in ophthalmology and contribute to the academic community through publications and presentations.

**Curriculum Development**:

- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the ophthalmology curriculum.
- Stay updated with emerging educational technologies and methodologies.
- Innovate and improve teaching methods to enhance the learning experience of students.

**Professional Development**:

- Attend conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay informed about the latest developments in ophthalmology.
- Maintain board certification, licenses, and professional memberships.

**Clinical Practice (Optional)**:

- Depending on the institution, some Ophthalmology Lecturers may engage in clinical practice, providing patient care in addition to their teaching and research responsibilities.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 36 months

**Salary**: RM8,000.00 - RM8,999.00 per month
