The IT Operations Analyst will provide support for remote operations including Service Desk and selected server-side systems. General system administration, development, security and support of all relevant infrastructures.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Provide remote user support for desktops, laptops and local lab equipment.

Provide administrative support for local server systems.

Provide technical guidance to users and management for desktop support.

Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of Pall hardware and software.

Participate in projects or teams and directed by the Manager/Supervisor.

Develop and maintain appropriate desktop and server related procedures and ensure these procedures are enforced.

Keep abreast of technical aspects of PC-LAN computing environment.

Perform daily backup procedures as defined by technical leads.

Find opportunities and recommend solutions for improving service, efficiency and effectiveness.

Log into and use telephone and computer-based Service Desk system to record all support activities.

**Other Duties**:
Contribute to meeting the departmental key performance indicators.

Provide training to regional communities as required

**Key Requirements**:
Degree or up-to-date professional certification in the relevant technical area

Good knowledge of PC hardware, associated peripherals. Microsoft O/S, corporate software and desktop

Ability to use technical documentation and diagnostic tools to solve level-1 IT related problems.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Good written and verbal communication skills in ether English and Mandarin or English and Japanese to support Pall APAC operations

Good judgement and strong analytical skills as well as follow-up and organizational skills.
