**Description of Work Sales Coordinator**
- Initiate the sales activities of personal market segment and sales & marketing department in order to ensure the hotel goal and personal target/ hotel budget set forth in Business Plan are met.
- Initiate and administer the advertising and promotional program.
- Prepare monthly sales target based on the category of accounts, company business activity and business trend. To refer to historical data to priortize type of sales calls.
- To ertertain clients and guests, minimum 5 companies per week. To conduct regular hotel inspection to new prospects.
- Participate in the development and execution of the hotel sales and marketing plan (especially sales action plan), budget and marketing audits.
- Initiate and estalish solicitation programs of personal market segment to maximize sales (Room & Catering)
- To cultivate and maintain close rapport with all guests at all time in order to ensure that they are well taken care of and mutual goodwill is established.
- To represent the management in handling guests requests and complaints and information corcerning services from all area of operations.
- To provide personalize guest services and complies if possible with each and every guest request.
- Analyzes market changes and trends under the direction of the General Manager, implement programs with the sales department to meet these changes, ie. Changes brought about by political, economic and competitors.
- To assist in facilitating collection of any outstanding payment of accounts handled by your good self.
- Assess margin contribution of group business to maximize meeting spaces.
- Coordinate communication between Sales & Marketing Department and other business units within the hotels.
- Maintain timely and responsive communication with Finance Department, clients and prospects.
- To perform all other work as and when required.
- Align working styles, working practices and conduct with Ri-Yaz Hotels & Resort's Vision, Corporate Values and Policies. To comply with The Code of Conduct at all times.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities -** _**Marcom Assistant**_
- Attend marketing meetings/regional sales and marketing monthly conference calls
- Arrange conference calls
- Assist with direct mail campaigns
- Maintain filing systems (manual and electronic)
- Attend key meetings
- Represent the Hotel at cocktail parties/dinners where appropriate
- Coordinate journalist familiarizations/visiting journalist programs and site inspections as required
- Prepare administration documents required for marketing (ie: internet listings, advertising, booking of directory advertising)
- Co-ordinate hotel photography shoots/talent where required, within budget
- Assist with promotions (e.g. seasonal sales promotions and special events)
- Maintain collateral and conduct occasional audit
- Co-ordinate generic Golden Tulip merchandise and hotel brand
- Co-ordinate hotel brand standards collateral
- Proof read copy of advertising, collateral and press releases where appropriate
- Assist with brand standards policing
- Work in line with business needs

Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
