ourteam is seeking a CTO/cofounder for an AI-driven health and fitness startup focused on revolutionizing diet and nutrition management. This company combines AI coaching with personal guidance to simplify calorie tracking and support individual health journeys.

**Join as a CTO/cofounder**

We are looking for a CTO/cofounder responsible for all technical aspects from front-end to back-end. You will own projects end-to-end across a distributed system and mobile app. This is a unique opportunity to join a company with strong traction that is beginning to scale, skipping the initial 0 to 1 stage. The role includes substantial equity and you will become the third cofounder.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and build scalable distributed systems using queues, object storage, and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Develop robust backend services in TypeScript
- Lead the development of a SwiftUI iOS app with Realm and Firebase integration
- Implement and optimize OpenAI API integrations
- Deliver high-quality code with comprehensive testing, while knowing when to take shortcuts
- Take ownership and thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Plan and break down complex projects into manageable tasks, with ability to delegate effectively

**Bonus**:

- Understanding/experience with prompt engineering, LLM optimization, building Agents, and NLP

**Requirement**
- Experience building distributed systems and working across the full stack
- Familiarity with TypeScript and backend development
- Familiarity with iOS development (SwiftUI preferred)
- Customer-first mindset with focus on user experience
- Self-motivated problem-solver who can execute quickly with mínimal direction
- Experience with CI/CD, testing frameworks, and deployment strategies
- Prefers delivering customer value over building perfect systems, with the ability to balance pragmatic solutions while maintaining flexibility for future growth
- Strong planning and task management skills with ability to prioritize effectively
