**Job Title**: Jr Sous Chef (Lobby Cafe)

**Reports To**: Cafe Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced **Jr. Sous Chef** to collaborate with the team in providing exceptional guest service and upholding our company's core value**:Be Kind**.

Our Lucky Coffee Bar is more than just a cafe-in-a-lobby at Kloe Hotel; it's a gathering place for creative individuals. We are seeking a talented and dedicated Jr. Sous Chef to join our passionate team and champion this value in all aspects.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- **Lead and motivate** Lucky team members, providing them with the guidance and support they need, specifically for food-related tasks.
- **Guest Experience Excellence**: Embody a culture of exceptional guest experience as KLoe’s _Tuan Rumah_, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well-cared for.
- **Assisting the Cafe Manager** to enhance all Lucky Coffee Bar operations, from back-end operations to the Guest Experience.
- **Procurement and Inventory Management**including purchasing, receiving, and food storage standards, guaranteeing both freshness and cost-effectiveness in our culinary operations.
- **Continuously improving the guest and employees’ experience** is a key responsibility. You will work diligently within the operating budget to find innovative ways to elevate both. This includes collaborating with the General Manager on research and development of new menu items, exploring exciting culinary trends and incorporating guest feedback.
- **Maintain open and clear communication** with all departments, facilitating a collaborative and supportive work environment.

**Qualifications & Traits**:

- At least 3 years' of working experience in a supervisory role in a similar culinary setting.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in the full spectrum of kitchen functions, including food planning and preparation, cost management, customer handling, food & kitchen safety, regulatory requirements, people management, recordkeeping, etc.
- Meticulous and possess good people skills.
- Analytical, strong in problem identification, problem solving and decision making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Display high levels of open-mindedness and self-awareness, open to new ideas and perspectives, and not afraid to challenge own assumptions.
- Enjoy sharing knowledge with others, and always willing to help others learn.
- Recognizes personal strengths and areas for improvement, actively seeking feedback and opportunities for growth.
- As a learner, being highly coachable and a potential leader coach to the team.

Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
