**SENIOR ACC EXECUTIVE/ACCOUNTANT/ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER (FULL SET ACCOUNTS) - Freelance/Temporary/Contract** **Job Purpose** The position reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for the full set of financial reports, develops and analyzes financial reports; compiles and analyzes financial information; assists in forecast and budget planning; supports the Finance Manager in financial risk and compliance management. **Key Result Area/Responsibilities** **1. Development and Delivery of Accounting Processes** - Develop, improve and implement a set of common-core business processes, and system on best practice, to improve efficiency for the department’s accounting processes. - Responsible for preparation of timely and accurate periodical Management accounts and reports. - Contribute to the development of financial processes by raising issues and opportunities as part of a regular dialogue with the Institution. **2. Accounts** - Responsible for the monthly management accounts & reports and yearly audited accounts. - Ensure timely preparation of monthly financial reports and information, variance analysis reports. - Preparation of audit and tax schedules and attend to auditors/tax queries. - Responsible for preparing revenue and overhead forecasts for both the current year and the forthcoming years**.** **3. Budgets and Management Information** - Produce financial management analysis and information. - Monitor the operating cost and other budgets to ensure that these remain on track to keep within budget by the financial year end. - Work with the Head of Departments on approved operating budgets in line with the strategic plans. - Assist in providing Financial Data for the annual planning process, including revenue and overheads budgets and forecast. - Responsible for the integrity of data, ensuring that financial records are both accurate and retained according to Institution guidelines. - Provide support with costings for new school activities or events. **4. Billing and Credit Control** - Manage accounting activities and billing issues; coordinate on invoicing and income projections, recommend action on bad debt and write offs. **5. Cash and Banking** - Responsible for managing the cash and cheque collection process; and liaison with banks on other receivable and payable activities; handle bank related matters and documentation. - Preparation of weekly cash forecast and monthly cash flow projections. **6. Staff Management** - Manage a team of direct reports, to develop their skills both individually and as a team so that they can provide quality works and services, this will include the induction, appraisal and performance management of team members. **Job Requirements** - Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in relevant field. - 5 years in managing accounting functions, controls and processes and best financial practice. - Experience in handling full set of accounts and annual budgeting - Knowledge and experience of SAP S/4HANA, IBM Planning & Cognos Analytics will be ideal but not mandatory - Good skills in Microsoft Office 365, Google sheets. - Good command in English both spoken and written. - Able to communicate well with all levels of stakeholders. - Dynamic, result-oriented, "can do" attitude. - Experience in an education environment will be an advantage. **Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)** - Ability to analyze and present complex data. - An aptitude for finance systems and excel spreadsheets. - Capacity for autonomous working and ability to contribute ideas. - Conscientious and motivated with a methodical approach to work. - Ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels. - Able to design, analyse and revise processes to deliver services in the most efficient way. **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Contract, Temporary, Freelance Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month **Benefits**: - Flexible schedule Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday Supplemental Pay: - Overtime pay
