As we expand our regional presence, we are looking for a **Finance & Administrative Assistant** based in **Nusajaya, Johor**, to support finance operations and administrative functions for our Malaysian office. This is a hybrid role ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across borders in a digital-first environment.

**Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & Accounting Support**
- Assist with bookkeeping and financial data entry using cloud-based accounting systems.
- Process invoices, staff reimbursements, and vendor payments.
- Reconcile bank transactions and maintain clear financial records.
- Support monthly reporting to HQ, including budget tracking and petty cash management.
- Liaise with vendors, clients, and banks in Malaysia.
- Help ensure compliance with Malaysian finance and tax regulations (with guidance from HQ or external consultants).

**Administrative & Office Operations**
- Maintain proper filing of financial, HR, and operational records (digital and physical).
- Support HR-related functions, such as onboarding documentation, leave tracking, and claims processing.
- Manage office inventory, supplies, and service provider relationships.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, coordinating logistics for workshops or events held in Johor.
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal team members and external parties at the Nusajaya office.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in finance or admin roles.
- Familiarity with tools such as Xero and Odoo, and productivity platforms (e.g., Google Workspace).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable with remote communication tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Notion).
- Able to work independently and manage responsibilities with mínimal supervision.
- Knowledge of Malaysian finance practices and basic HR regulations is an advantage.
- Passion for technology and community-focused work is a plus.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
