Intern, Product Designer, Researcher and Writer

We’re looking for a curious mind to come to join us for at least three months as a Product Design intern, Product Research Intern or Product Writer Intern.

**Responsibilities**
- Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings.
- Manage and grow research panels
- Work with other UX researchers and designers to coordinate and schedule participants for user interviews and user tests
- Help UX researchers and designers conduct remote usability tests
- Collaborate with others to do secondary research for travel and e-commerce products
- Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI and visual design specifications to Product and Engineering teams.
- Contribute to the design system and ensure design standardization across all of the team's products.
- Performing metrics analysis post-launch to inform design/UX optimization efforts.
- Be resourceful and creative to overcome obstacles and turn challenges into opportunities.
- Write clear, concise user-interface text for products.
- Ensure tactical execution to drive cohesive product narratives across all digital touchpoints within the product (and work with marketing and operations on touch points outside the product).
- Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, and software engineers to define requirements.
- Develop concepts for early stage products. Provide data-informed insights to improve existing experiences.
- Help coordinate translations, improve writing tools and processes, format documents, and generally assist as needed to produce software and hardware products.

**Requirements**:

- Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction Design, Graphic/Visual Communications Design, Industrial or Product Design, HCI or related field with a minimum of one quarter or semester of school to complete after your internship.
- Strong interest in user research, user experience design, human behaviors, and research methodologies
- You’re a storyteller and can effectively convey findings
- Comfortable reaching out to strangers and communicating effectively with others
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of G-suite and softwares such as Figma or Miro is a plus
- Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques.
- Experience designing and implementing user interfaces (UIs).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.
- Must be able to collaborate effectively with others in a cross-functional team in different locations
- Must be able to rationalize and present their design ideas and decisions effectively.
- Must be able to prioritize and manage work to adhere to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Resume must include a link to the design portfolio.
