Manufacturing Assistant Manager/ Manager

Responsibility: Planning, managing, and improving all tasks related to manufacturing. Duties: Delivery 1. To liaise with HR department for staff recruitment and hiring process 2. To monitor and control headcount based on budget plan from management. 3. To plan and manage staff in order to ensure the production line run reliably and efficiently and meet production output 4. To plan for staff’s multitasking and skill improvement to meet overall production output 5. To plan and improve production equipment layout or simplify the jig/tools in order to achieve the total utilization capacity 6. To involve in stock count activities and production system and monitor any abnormality related to manufacturing material. 7. To plan, develop and improve the manufacturing operating, data recording, monitoring and traceability system. 8. To work with equipment engineering for the design or modification of equipment, machine, jig, tool, etc for productivity improvement. 9. To plan and manage the downtime of equipment and work together with equipment engineering for the productivity and quality improvement. 10. To plan and introduce new technology, development, improvement of new equipment and tools for productivity and quality improvement Quality 1. To work together with engineer team to identify, investigate and analyze root cause for process and product abnormality 2. To organize and manage yield improvement activities (FRT team, etc) progress for product quality improvement. 3. To manage the establishment, control and update of the standard working procedure 4. To plan and manage staff skill in order to improve product yield 5. To plan and manage patrol to ensure staff’s operation is done according to the operation procedure 6. To work with QC for the product quality verification and improvement 7. To manage and improve manufacturing abnormality and yield status after engineering has done changes on the process. 8. To make and perform process risk assessment. Cost 1. To plan and manage operator’s attendance, discipline and productivity 2. To plan, standardize and simplify manufacturing operation process in order to increase the production capability 3. To plan and monitor cost reduction activities. 4. To manage and improve for manufacturing tact time 5. To support for manufacturing overall budget planning and control cost budget is expensed as per budgeted. Safety 1. To manage and improve the environment and safety of production floor 2. Part of ERT member 3. To make and perform safety risk assessment for manufacturing floor Human Management 1. To review and manage staff probation confirmation and performance appraisal 2. To plan and make the material of basic knowledge and company standard training to all related staff 3. To make and improve the system to train and qualify manufacturing staff on their job scope and skill. 4. To plan, manage and improve the attendance, discipline and performance of manufacturing staff and proceed for improvement 5. To manage and improve the system of the attendance monitoring, accumulating point system and productivity monitoring 6. To plan and control budget of material parts for training purpose and manufacturing consumables parts stock. 7. To manage and improve manufacturing staff on the QMS management and ISO 8. To make the plan and schedule for overall manufacturing staff development 9. To assist and manage staff in setting their KPI based on company policy and KPI 10. To support the planning of the overall organization of the manufacturing New Model Introduction 1. To prepare manufacturing headcount (leader, operator,etc) for new product training. 2. To plan manufacturing layout for new product. 3. To work together with engineering side to make sure new product introduction related to manufacturing side is on schedule. 4. To support engineering side for the establishing and updating of new product operation procedure. 5. To plan the overall manufacturing process flow and layout for new product running in manufacturing. 6. To liaise with Japan on the new product introduction related to manufacturing (progress, abnormality, improvement, feedback,etc) Other 1. To visualize and report any related matters to manufacturing quality and productivity. 2. To plan and manage the staff for small group and kaizen activities including 5S, activities with QC team, etc 3. To be the PIC to manage company asset, facilities, and equipment. 4. To perform all other ad-hock task as assigned by superior. 5. Maintain the confidential information at the highest level.
