Hostel Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:

- Foreign Workers' Dormitory Supervisor
- Summary
- The Dormitory Supervisor holds the responsibility of running the dormitory efficiently and keeping it a safe and healthy place for the resident foreign workers. You will be involved in the areas of general administration, logistics, safety and security as well as tenancy management.- Roles & Responsibilities- Fully in-charge and monitor foreign workers, accommodation, and hostel affairs.
- To ensure foreign workers' hostels are compliance with
- Workers' Minimum Standards of Housing & Amenities Act 1990 ;
- Workers' Minimum Standards of Housing & Amenities Act 446 ;
- Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct.- Liaise with Client’s HR department to ensure the workers’ hostel meet the requirement
- Conduct periodical hostel inspections and random spot checks.
- Undertake regular assessment of occupancy's discipline, health, living habits and activities. Provide timely hostel reports to superior
- Conduct training and build awareness among workers in ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the hostel.
- Responsible to ensure health and security of workers in hostel as well as to provide hygiene guidelines and safety precaution.
- Work closely with facility/maintenance team and coordinate for hostel facilities/maintenance and equipment maintenance, replacement, or repairs.
- Ensure the hostel buildings, fixtures, fittings remain to the highest possible standard.
- Always responsible and be on-call anytime inclusive of off-duty hours, to attend foreign worker's emergency incidents, to transport workers, follow-up cases, carry out discipline action and investigate root cause of the incidents.
- Foster good both sides relationships and co-operations with foreign workers.
- Identify areas for improvement to overall hostels' monitoring and management.
- To assist Hostel Manager on hostel utilities saving program and monitor workers' utilities usage
- Undertake any other responsible duties or projects, commensurate with the job title as may be determined by the Head of Department.
