**Job Title**

Driver Lorry cum Inventory Assistant

**Job Overview**

This position requires a staff who can not only operate a lorry safely and responsibly but also contribute to maintaining accurate inventory records. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and secure transportation of goods while actively participating in inventory management tasks.

**Job Responsibilities - Basic**
- Safely Operate Lorry: As a primary responsibility, you will be expected to operate a lorry with a strong emphasis on safety. This includes adherence to traffic laws, regulations, and company-specific policies.
- Routine Maintenance: Take charge of routine vehicle maintenance, promptly reporting any issues to ensure the lorry's optimal condition.
- Loading and Unloading: Ensure goods are loaded, secured, and unloaded with precision to prevent damage during transportation.
- Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records, collaborating closely with the warehouse team.
- Stock Checks: Conduct regular stock checks to identify and report any discrepancies, contributing to inventory accuracy.
- Organized Storage: Maintain an organized and efficient storage system within the warehouse for easy accessibility of goods.
- Issue Reporting: Report any delivery or inventory-related issues promptly to relevant personnel for swift resolution.
- Adherence to Procedures: Follow safety procedures and guidelines during transportation and warehouse activities to minimize risks.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Educational Background: Possess at least a high school(SPM), diploma or equivalent.
- License and Experience**:Hold a valid Goods Driver's License (GDL) **with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a lorry driver is essential, showcasing a solid understanding of safe driving practices.
- Driving Skills: Demonstrate excellent driving skills and a comprehensive knowledge of traffic laws.
- Mathematical Proficiency: Possess basic mathematical skills for inventory counting and calculations.
- Organizational Skills: Exhibit strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strength: Have the physical strength and capability to lift and move heavy items.
- Stamina: Exhibit stamina and physical fitness for extended periods of driving and warehouse work.
- Flexibility: Be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
