**Job Summary**:

- We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Batch Job Management Specialist.**In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing batch job management system which integrate with SAP Hana4, Manufacturing app, Supply chain, B2B within our organization.**
- You will ensure that batch jobs are executed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner to support our business operations.**Your New Roles**:

- **Administration and Maintenance**: Install, configure, and maintain the batch job management system software and related tools.
- **Batch Job Scheduling**: Develop and maintain batch job schedules based on business requirements and priorities. Coordinate with stakeholders to determine job dependencies and optimize job sequencing.
- **Job Monitoring**: Monitor the execution of batch jobs to ensure they run successfully and meet predefined SLAs (Service Level Agreements). Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during job execution, such as job failures, errors, or delays.
- **Performance Optimization**: Collaborate with system administrators, developers, and database administrators to optimize batch job performance, including job prioritization, resource allocation, and load balancing.
- **Job Documentation**: Create and maintain documentation for batch job procedures, including job setup instructions, dependencies, and recovery plans. Ensure that documentation is up to date and readily available for reference.
- **Incident Management**: Participate in incident management processes by providing timely resolution and communication regarding batch job-related incidents, ensuring mínimal impact on business operations.
- **Job Automation**: Work closely with development teams to automate manual batch job processes where possible, using scripting languages, job scheduling tools, or other automation frameworks. Streamline and standardize batch job workflows with industry best practices.
- **Compliance and Security**: Ensure batch job processes comply with organizational policies, data privacy regulations, and security standards, implementing necessary controls and safeguards.. Collaborate with the IT security team to implement appropriate access controls and audit mechanisms.
- **Reporting and Analysis**: Generate regular reports on batch job performance, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on the analysis of job data.
- This position is to be based in Bayan Lepas, Penang / permanent remote if you are located outside of Penang.
