Monitor and manage daily workshop operation and ensure teamwork between frontliner and workshop.
- Responsible for ensuring that repair jobs are carried out ompletely and correctly by technicians in accordance with the Company's guidelines and regulations.
- Responsible for workshop capacity utilisation.
- Ensures flawless work quality by means of suitable workshop equipments, test instruments and method.
- Monitor and manage financial related cost and revenue.
- Manage and guide staff to improve their productivity, competency and commitment.
- Gives technical support to technicians in preparing diagnostics and performing difficult repairs.
- Controls workshop staff on the basis of defined key figures (e.g flat rate unit)
- Checks all repair and maintenance jobs placed with third parties (and ensures that the quality and deadline keeping is correct.
- Oversee and plan day-to-day workshop operation to achieve KPI’s (Financial and Non-Financial) set by the Company.
- Monitor claim processing leadtime at frontline and production and ensure claims are submitted to principals promptly.
- Review work orders to ensure that all actions have been documented according to Service Workshop policies and procedures.
- Monitor parts operation in compliance to the Company's standard operation procedures.
- Resolve customers complaints.
- Ensure all insurance claim WIP’s are updated on weekly basis and submit to respective collision repair overall PIC.
- Monitor insurance claims movement on submission and approval in the Merimem system.
- Undertake and perform any other ad-hoc duties, assignments and responsibilities as assigned by the CEO from time to time as and when required.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Marketing or equivalent with Automotive related experienced
- At least five (5) years working experience.
- Must be hands on, details oriented and dedicated.
- Independent and able to work under pressure and multitasking environment.
- Ability to interact with all levels of people to address arising issues.
- Responsible, meticulous and possess good working attitude.
- Fundamental principles of business administration and supervisory skills.
