This post plays a crucial role in ensuring project timelines are met, resources are efficiently utilized, and potential risks are identified and mitigated. The Project Planner works closely with the project team, stakeholders, and management to ensure successful project execution.
**Responsibilities**:
**Project Planning and Coordination**:
Collaborate with the project team and stakeholders to develop project plans and define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and milestones.
Create, monitor, and coordinate the project schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource allocation plans.
**Schedule Development and Management**:
Develop and maintain project schedules using planning tools MS Project.
Regularly update project schedules to reflect progress, delays, and changes in scope.
Conduct critical path analysis to identify potential bottlenecks and propose necessary adjustments to optimize project timelines.
**Risk Assessment and Mitigation**:
Identify potential risks, issues, and challenges that may impact project timelines or quality.
Evaluate and analyze risks and develop mitigation plans in collaboration with the project team.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures throughout the project lifecycle.
**Progress Reporting and Documentation**:
Prepare regular progress reports and communicate project status to stakeholders and management.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, change orders, and other relevant records.
Support project team in preparing reports and presentations for project reviews and meetings.
**Resource Management**:
Collaborate with project team members to identify resource requirements and allocate resources effectively.
Monitor resource utilization and recommend adjustments to optimize productivity.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of required materials and equipment.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Civil Project Planner or in a similar role for at least 5 years.
Proficient in using project planning and scheduling tools such as MS Project, or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, methods, and materials.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project team members and stakeholders.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
**Salary**: From RM8,000.00 per month
