A community engagement intern is responsible for content and activity within airasia chat including moderation of user-generated content by community users, curating and creating content for sharing in the community, encouraging users participation, and participating in community discussions. You’ll need to make sure contents are shared in the right category, are free from scams, do not include any illegal items, and anything else that is inappropriate in your judgment, bring it up for review and appropriate action will be taken.

**KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Review content (video, image, text) and conduct the content quality control, ensuring the content complies with our Content Moderation Guidelines.
- Review the reported content within agreed turnaround times and standards of quality.
- Become and remain knowledgeable about online community standards Thoroughly check the content with quality and accuracy.
- Manage the community chat rooms and increase user engagement by engaging with them professionally.
- Curate and create content for sharing in the various community groups to encourage discussion and participation
- Escalate/process all complaints/issues to the relevant stakeholders i.e. Customer Happiness team, CRM team.
- Approve or disapprove user-generated content based on our Content Moderation Guidelines.
- Provide regular updates on engagement metrics, and user-generated topics raised within Chat.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates and cross-functional teams.
- Monitor company updates i.e. ongoing marketing campaigns and build use cases to boost user engagement and app usage within Chat.
- Assist with one-off projects as opportunities arise.

- Detail-oriented, navigate gray areas effectively.
- Manage exposure to unusual, sensitive, and/or obscene content.
- Ability to be flexible as and when required.
- Good understanding of social media, content, and e-commerce culture Ability to react quickly and effectively.
- Possess a high level of professionalism
- Proven ability to complete repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Passionate about finding data-driven solutions to complex problems.
- Can work independently to effectively prioritize and manage your time
