**Role**: ETL Developer

**Client**: Banking

**Working Mode**: On Site

**Job Type**: 12-month contract (after completing 12-month contract, renew or there is a chance to be converted into permanent staff under Skill Quotient, depending on the performance)

**Job Location**: Kuala Lumpur

**Experience**: 4+ years working experience in ETL/ELT processes for the financial services

**OT is applicable for extra working hours**: No

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Design and implement ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into BigQuery.
- Utilize Google Cloud Platform services, including BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, and GSUtil, to manage and optimize data workflows.
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using Apache Airflow to ensure timely data availability.
- Work with PostgreSQL to perform data modeling and manage database schemas.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Implement and maintain data quality checks and monitoring solutions.
- Utilize Talend for data integration tasks and data transformations.
- Manage version control and collaboration using GitLab.
- Document processes and provide training to team members as needed.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as an ETL/ELT Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services, particularly BigQuery, Cloud Composer, and Cloud Storage.
- Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestrating complex workflows.
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Familiarity with Talend or similar ETL tools.
- Proficient in GitLab or similar version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Bonus if having experiences in AML system or related project of Anti-Money Laundering/Countering Financing of Terrorism (AMLA/CFT).
