**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven **Project Sales Executive - Exhibition Division** to join our team. The Project Sales Executive will play a crucial role in driving sales for our exhibitions, generating revenue, and maximising opportunities for growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for sales, strong interpersonal skills, and a keen interest in the exhibitions and event industry.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Sales Generation:
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities for our exhibitions, including selling exhibition booth space and sponsorships
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
- Utilise a variety of sales techniques, including cold calling, networking, and client meetings, to generate leads and close sales.
- Collect payments from clients in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to payment terms and procedures.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, consistently delivering high-quality results.
2. Client Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing information, and offering ongoing support throughout the sales process.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and logistics, to coordinate client requirements and ensure seamless execution of exhibitions.
3. Project Planning and Development:
- Collaborate with the project management team in the planning and development stage of exhibition projects.
- Provide input on sales strategies and target markets based on market research and client feedback.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment between sales objectives and project goals.
- Assist in the development of sales collateral, promotional materials, and presentations to support sales efforts.
4. Operational and Logistic Support:
- Provide operational and logistic support during the pre-exhibition, exhibition, and tear-down phases.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery and setup of exhibition booths and materials.
- Assist with on-site coordination, including managing vendor relationships, resolving logístical issues, and ensuring adherence to timelines.
- Collaborate with the operations team to address any logístical challenges and ensure the successful execution of the event.
5. Collaborative Teamwork:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to support overall business objectives and ensure the successful delivery of exhibitions.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and strategy discussions, contributing valuable insights and ideas to drive innovation and growth.
**Requirement**:
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience with a proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the events, exhibitions, or related industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence others effectively.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to communicate proficiently in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous.
- Experience in sales within the service or exhibition industry is advantageous.
