Finance Executive

**Job Summary**:
The **Finance Manager** is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring financial stability, compliance, and efficiency. This role involves strategic financial planning, risk management, budgeting, financial reporting, and optimizing the company’s financial performance. The Finance Manager will lead the finance team, implement financial controls, and support business decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Strategy & Planning**
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for business growth and risk mitigation.

**2. Financial Reporting & Compliance**
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies (e.g., GST, corporate tax, SST).
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies for audits and financial reporting.

**3. Accounting & General Ledger Management**
- Maintain and oversee the **General Ledger (GL)**, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial adjustments.

**4. Cash Flow & Risk Management**
- Monitor and manage company cash flow to ensure financial stability.
- Identify financial risks and implement risk management strategies.
- Develop cost control measures to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

**5. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance**
- Manage tax planning, filing, and compliance for corporate tax, GST, SST, and other applicable taxes.
- Work closely with tax consultants and auditors to ensure timely submission of tax returns.
- Keep up to date with financial laws and government regulations affecting the business.

**6. System & Process Optimization**
- Oversee and enhance the use of **AutoCount** or other accounting software to improve efficiency.
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies and fraud.
- Continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and financial reporting systems.

**7. Leadership & Team Management**
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on financial best practices.
- Foster collaboration with other departments to achieve financial and business goals.

**Requirements**:

- **Diploma** in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- **Minimum 2 years of experience** in finance, accounting, or a managerial role.
- **Proficiency in AutoCount** or other accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of **General Ledger (GL), taxation, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance**.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and budget forecasting**.
