Job Requirement:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2years experience in a similar capacity.
- Leadership skills are needed to lead the team in manufacturing industries.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices.
- Ability to organize work and work under pressure and adapt to changing workloads.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all staff and supplies.
- Innovative to create ideas for improvement & problem-solving.

**Job Description**:

- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure the best terms and conditions.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Manage inventory levels and optimize inventory turnover.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
- Resolve any procurement-related issues or disputes.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulations relevant to procurement.
- Highlight any issues that arise with progress to resolve it with other related department personnel.
- Work with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Response for mobilize action during emergencies of incidents & accidents related to plant processes.
- Monitor maintenance activities including cost of expenses, spare part inventory, and preventive corrective activities of each plant by working closely with the Maintenance Department to control the maintenance cost within the budget and minimize process downtime related to equipment breakdown.
- Support the organization’s purchasing initiatives, including sourcing and negotiation of strategic sourcing contracts.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
