Responsibilities: - Work closely with our sales team, channel partners and customers to support pre-sales activities including client visits, solution identification, architecture, product demonstrations and Proof-of-Concept (POC) exercises;
- Maintain a strong understanding of the Company’s solution offerings and training the sales team and channel partners;
- Must demonstrate a high level of understanding of our products and services and communicate effectively with customers;
- Keep up to date with recent technical advances and applies industry knowledge to Quantum products and processes;
- Take an innovative approach to problem solving and lead efforts to develop new approaches; and - Identify risks and understand how to manage them in order to avoid delays and shortcomings as well as to evaluate proposed design and appreciate its system-wide implications and consequences. Requirements: - Diploma/Degree in either a Computing OR IT related discipline or equivalent qualification;
- More than 3 years experience in a pre-sales/product role with a track record of client interaction and presentations;
- Proven CCTV or Video Surveillance design experience with various surveillance vendors such as Milestone, Genetec, HIK Vision etc. - Proven Media and Entertainment (M&E) design experience with various M&E vendors such as Dalet, VizRT, or Sony pictures etc. - Proven NAS, SAN, archival design experience in a large enterprise environment with tape & disk storage;
- Working knowledge of Linux, Mac and Windows operating systems;
- Experience using VMWare, scripting and automation of storage administration, replication technologies;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM or any other form of virtualization software is a plus. - Knowledge with Media and Entertainment, Video Surveillance, Autonomous vehicles, or Research and Analytics will be a huge plus.
