_**Main Purpose of the Job: -**_
The Customer Service & Receptionist is responsible for providing exceptional front-desk support and customer service to patients at the dental clinic. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment while managing administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the clinic.
- **Job Description / Responsibilities: -**_
1. Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
3. Handle patient inquiries, provide information about dental services, and address concerns promptly.
4. Process patient registrations, update records, and ensure accurate documentation in the clinic’s system.
5. Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure efficient patient flow and timely appointments.
6. Handle billing, process payments, and issue receipts while maintaining accurate financial records.
7. Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a positive first impression for patients.
8. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management of front-desk supplies.
9. Ensure compliance with clinic policies, confidentiality regulations, and data protection standards (e.g., patient privacy).
10. Support the dental team with ad-hoc tasks as needed to ensure seamless clinic operations.
- **Requirements: -**_
1. Minimum SPM/STPM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in any field (Business Administration, Healthcare, or related fields preferred).
2. At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service or receptionist roles, preferably in a healthcare or dental setting.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (additional languages like Mandarin are a plus).
4. Proficient in using office management software, appointment scheduling systems, and basic Microsoft Office tools.
5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
6. Friendly, empathetic, and professional demeanour with a customer-centric approach.
7. Knowledge of dental terminology or experience in a dental clinic is an advantage.
8. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
9. Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends or evenings, if required by the clinic’s operating hours.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
