**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- To manage supply chain management (SCM)’s organizational structures and responsibilities to meet the requirement of the Company and lead the recruitment, retention and development of SCM staff to prepare for current and future challenges.
- To achieve optimum inventory management level, cost minimisation, level up service provided to customers and to increase competitiveness of the company.
- To shorten the delivery lead time constantly reviewing and analysing delivery arrangement and performance.
- To assess the vendor performance for corrective and preventive actions taken in order to reduce operations and logistics cost from time to time.
- To monitor the import shipments to ensure proper management and compliance to the company policy as well as local rules and regulations.
- To manage and monitor the flow of supply chain including but not limited to stocks movement, inventory, ordering process, warehousing and stock management.
- To ensure customers’ complaints are managed properly and take necessary action to address the root cause of issues from time to time.
- To review and develop standard operation procedures to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality, safety and implementing subsequent changes to processes.
- To perform other assignments as assigned from time to time.
- Define and implement local purchasing strategies by initiating procurement processes and pinpointing approaches to problem-solving in order to secure local plant) objectives.
- Excellence in price negotiation. Knowledgeable in delivery schedule planning.
- To plan and monitor production schedule in order to meet customer delivery request.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to planning, inventory, and material control, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Preliminary audit with Quality Team on suppliers when needs arise;
- To minimize the frequency of stock discrepancy.
- To perform other assignments as assigned from time to time.

**Skills Required**:

- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin
- More than 5 years working experience in Supply Chain Management.

Location : AWASAN PERINDUSTRIAN BUKIT MINYAK, PENANG SCIENCE PARK, 14100 SIMPANG AMPAT,PENANG

**Salary**: Up to RM12,000.00 per month
