Overview:
THE ROLE: (Brief summary of what you are looking for)

The Analyst III will report to the Senior Manager, Cost Accounting and will support both APAC and North America cost accounting activities. Responsibilities include global oversight of Inventory valuation as well as accounting related to corporate 3rd party Importer distribution markets.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: (Responsibilities and tasks associated with the job)
- Identify, review and report excess and obsolete inventory in collaboration global supply chain team using detailed inventory valuation model.
- Collect and analyze financial information related to inventory account management.
- Review and support monthly account reconciliation workflow.
- Generate monthly journal entries related to standard cost accounting function.
- Provide global monthly reporting and review of Importer activity & cycle count reporting.
- Support continuous development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
- Support necessary ad hoc reporting and compliance support related to cost accounting.

Qualifications:
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: (List requirements, skills and experience needed for the job)

**Skills**:

- General/Cost accounting skills and experience, in conjunction with good analytical skills.
- Intermediate written and verbal communication skills in english.
- Team player and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, and ability to properly prioritize.

Languages:
**Experience**:

- A minimum of 3 years accounting experience in distribution or manufacturing industries.
- A minimum of 1 year inventory/cost accounting experience.
- Experience utilizing leading ERP software (e.g., Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP)

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Secondary education business or accounting degree.
- Experience in large multi-national corporation
- Proficient in Oracle General Ledger, Cost Management and/or Manufacturing modules.
- Certified Public Accountant or equivalent accredited audit experience.
