- Spearheads & develops department objectives & goals attaining company objectives.
- Provides leadership & guidance to maintenance team in attaining department objectives & goals.
- Provides leadership to ensure hotel facilities i.e water pumps, fire fighting system, electrical supply, air-conditioning to internet connection etc are interruption free.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
a) Develops, execute and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance plan for hotel operations.

1) Air-conditioning

2) Domestic water supply

3) Fire-fighting system

4) Passenger & service lift

5) Swimming pool

6) Lifts & doors access control system

7) Internet & cctv

b) Develops, maintains and updates to ensure standard operating procedures are relevant to current business needs/environment.

c) Guiding staffs in adherence to latest sop

d) Develops improvement plan to minimize hotel guest complaint related to facilities.

e) Working & advising staff method in removing road-block

f) Develops & maintains sufficient commonly use spare parts inventory

g) Leads, trains, and manages staffs including assigning tasks, monitoring

h) Performance, and conducting regular performance evaluations.

i) Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development.

j) Develops and manages department's budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

k) Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs or projects to ensure repairs are done on time and meeting quality expectation.

l) Collaborates with other departments to support hotel operations to address maintenance-related issues.

m) Provide monthly reports to hotel general manager on maintenance status, issues, and improvements plan.

Qualification:

- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and other relevant tools.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
