- Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications check for allergies and known allergies of patients and note for future notifications.
- Assist in the preparation of extemporaneous pharmaceuticals ensuring that there is no overstock.
- Accurately count and pour medications from stock containers ensuring no touch techniques at all times.
- Repackage and label products and extemporaneous doses accurately with no mistakes. Double check with a clinical staff whenever possible.
- Receive and input prescription orders into system accurately.
- Liaise with healthcare providers to ensure accuracy of prescription information in terms of right patient, right drug, right dose, right route, and right time.
- Release refill medications and over-the-counter products in accordance with existing standard procedures as per required by the government.
- When dispensing medication, always check the 5 rights of medication administration.
- Provide patients and customers with necessary information about their prescriptions, medications and product.
- Provide patient education on medications given.
- Patient data management and always ensure confidentiality.
- Collect, organize and maintain patient information and profiles input details into prescription/patient/pharmacy data management system.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of medicines and pharmaceutical supplies using min max rules.
- Practice First In, First Out principle always to prevent expiry of medications.
- Place orders for required inventory when it has reached min level.
- Receive and record medications and pharmaceutical products timely.
- Package and label medications and pharmaceutical products efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain work area in an organized and hygienic manner at all times.
- Keep pharmacy equipment and environment sanitized, clean and in good working order
- Ensure products and shelves are kept neat and tidy
- Answering all calls and enquiries in a professional manner.
- Maintain good relations with vendors.
- To perform any additional duties as assigned by immediate superior.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate or experience in pharmacy is advantage

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month
