To undertake transportation of patients and to ensure that patients are being received properly by the nursing staff.
- To escort patients and their relatives between wards / departments and between car and wards/ departments.
- To accompany ambulance driver fetching patients for emergency cases.
- To assist in messenger services within the Hospital, including distribution of daily lists, documents, records, report cards, mails, parcels, specimen including the collection and transfer of general items between wards / departments.
- To assist transportation of items in case pneumatic system faulty.
- To assist in the preparation of special events organized by the Hospital such as Public Forums and Educational event if need arise.
- To prepare deckchairs distribution to wards upon requisition and collection on the next day morning.
- To ensure the cleanliness and good functional condition of all transportation equipment.
- To assist in relocation of departmental belongings in the presence of the department in-charge.
- To take up emergency response team in transporting patients to safer ground as the assembly area during ‘Emergency Code’.
