**About the company**:
Our client is a major industry player in the logistics and freight forwarding industry, with a firm foothold in the Asia Pacific region and positioned to bring it's services to a global level.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identifying new business opportunities and developing existing and new business accounts.
- Present and maintain an active listing of new business prospects to the Company.
- Develop market share with existing customers to an agreed annual target.
- Manage and maintain pipelines, respond to requests for information in a timely manner and remain proactive and responsive to prospective customers.
- Effectively interacts with other departments including, the account management, operation & logistics teams, and finance department.
- Study the market inclusive, but not limited to competitors, carriers, and manufacturers to be updated on market trends, fluctuation, change.
- Timely submission of sales reports to a direct sales manager or higher levels when required.

**Job Requirements**:

- Diploma / Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent
- At least 2-5 years of experience in the Logistics/Freight Forwarding industry with exposure to sales and business development
- Willing to travel
- Good in communication and negotiation
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Strategic thinking and statistical analysis skills

**Remuneration**:
MYR 4,000 - MYR 8,000 (basic) + commission

**Working Hours**:
Mon - Fri | 9 am - 6 pm

**Location**:
Penang

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- George Town: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
