Qc Inspector

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform inspections and quality checks on construction activities and materials in accordance with project specifications and standards
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and procedures
- Prepare and maintain inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation
- Report any non-conformances or quality issues and coordinate with the site team for corrective actions
- Conduct visual inspections and assist in dimensional checks, welding inspections, material verification, etc.
- Support the QA/QC team in implementing project quality plans and procedures
- Participate in site audits, inspections, and client walkthroughs as required
- Assist in verifying material certificates, calibration records, and other QC-related documentation

**Qualifications**
- Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or relevant technical field)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in QC inspection, preferably in the construction or oil & gas sector
- Familiar with relevant quality standards
- Basic understanding of construction drawings, procedures, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to use inspection tools and instruments effectively
- Familiarity with Petronas Technical Standards (PTS), OGSP, and Malaysian codes of practice is an advantage

**Key Skills & Requirements**
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to remote project locations
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a site-based environment
- Must possess or be able to obtain OGSP, CIDB Green Card, and other relevant certifications
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
