Tax Assistant

Responsibility
- To ensure all tasks are done in timely manner and up to date
- Handling accounts for clients
- Working directly for an accountant, help to maintain the office and keep IT running smoothly.
- Also deal with customers and external agencies (LHDN)
- Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
- Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries
- To ensure all tasks are done in timely manner and up to date
- Handling tax for clients
- Preparation of tax computations, tax return, other tax compliance to meet tax submission deadlines
- Handle a portfolio of tax clients including corporate, partnership and individuals
- Liaise directly with LHDN officers, including attending to tax queries, handling tax audit and investigation cases involving clients.
- Provide support in resolving tax-related issues
**Requirements**:
- Experience handling tax audit or investigation cases is highly desirable.
- Former experience working with LHDN is welcomed and considered a strong advantage.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills, especially in dealing with government agencies.
- Knowledge in the Accounting system, Superior Tax Com, MYOB, UBS, SQL, Auto Account and Quick Book
- Familiar with submission Tax System Form B, BE, CP204, C, E (E-Filing)
- Skills required: Tax Law Knowledge, Tax Planning, Excel
