Protege - IT Support

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Technical Support**: Provide first-line support to employees for hardware and software-related issues, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- **Network Assistance**: Support in managing and troubleshooting network issues such as Wi-Fi, VPN, and other connectivity problems.
- **System Maintenance**: Monitor and maintain IT systems, including servers, security software, and other infrastructure to ensure reliability and security.
- **Helpdesk Support**: Act as the first point of contact for IT-related queries. Document all support requests and resolutions in the helpdesk system. Ensure prompt resolution of user issues.
- **User Training**: Provide end-user training for new software or systems and offer guidance to improve IT efficiency across departments.
- **Asset Management**: Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, ensuring all hardware is accounted for and properly maintained.
- **Security & Compliance**: Ensure adherence to Cergas Murni's IT security policies and practices, including data protection protocols, user access controls, and regular software updates.
- **Collaboration & Escalation**: Work with other IT team members and departments to escalate complex issues and collaborate on larger IT projects or system upgrades.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or relevant certifications).
- Proven experience (at least 1-2 years) in IT support or a similar role in an enterprise or business environment. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve hardware and software issues effectively.
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with network configurations, VPNs, and routers
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach with attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Contract, Fresh graduate
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
