**Job Summary**:
The Registrar's Office is responsible for ensuring institutional compliance with legal, regulatory, and quality assurance frameworks, including ISO standards, to uphold academic integrity and operational excellence.

**Job Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Education Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a compliance, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance role, preferably within a higher education setting.
- **Knowledge**: Familiarity with the Malaysian Education Act, MOHE and MQA regulations, and other related statutes.

1. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with national and international education regulations (e.g., Ministry of Higher Education [MOHE], Malaysian Qualifications Agency [MQA], and relevant accreditation bodies).
- Monitor legislative changes and regulatory updates affecting academic and administrative processes.

2. ISO Standards and Quality Management
- Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001: Quality Management System (QMS) within Registrar Office operations.
- Ensure processes related to registration, records, and certification are aligned with documented ISO procedures and regularly reviewed for continuous improvement.
- Participate in internal audits, management reviews, and corrective/preventive action processes (CAPA) related to ISO compliance.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance Unit to prepare for external ISO surveillance or recertification audits.

3. Policy and Procedure Implementation
- Develop, review, and enforce academic and administrative policies in compliance with institutional guidelines, legal requirements, and ISO documentation control protocols.
- Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Registrar services are updated, ISO-compliant, and properly communicated to staff.

4. Institutional Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare accurate reports for MOHE, MQA, and other governing bodies, ensuring data quality and traceability in line with ISO and regulatory standards.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and records of student data, graduations, and academic progress.

5. Data Governance and Records Management
- Manage student records securely and in compliance with Personal Data Protection Act (POPA) and institutional data governance policies.
- Oversee systematic archiving, retention, and disposal of records in accordance with ISO and regulatory requirements.

6. Risk and Compliance Monitoring
- Identify compliance risks related to registration, examinations, and student progression.
- Participate in risk assessments and contribute to mitigation strategies, particularly those related to regulatory non-compliance or ISO audit findings.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
