1. Portray a high professionalism and good mannerism in way of dressing, grooming, presentation and body language.

2. Responsible for planning and managing the daily operations of the department. Responsible for developing and implementing the department’s sales and marketing strategies and plans as well as managing the department’s performance.

3. Overall control of the department’s sales and service level with the objective of making continuous improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.

4. Compile and / or direct the preparation of reports pertaining to the operation of the operation of the sales department to include, but not limited to the annual and monthly forecast, marketing budget, lead management system, group booking pace report, and sales meeting minutes.

5. Coordinate ongoing research of the travel industry to detect market trends and related information for development of new marketing strategies. Make reasonable recommendations to improve potential from various markets.

6. Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales & marketing presentations to prospective clients. Internally promote company program.

7. Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to the staff.

8. Initiate preparation of computerized annual business plan and execute plans as outlined, critically examining and adjusting as deemed necessary by current market conditions.

9. Organize and / or attend scheduled sales & marketing, executive committee and related meetings.

10. Direct and manage all group and catering/banquet sales & marketing activities to maximize revenue for the resort.

11. Emergency and safety & health procedures at work
- To be familiarized with all the emergency procedures and follow all regulations to ensure that all work carried out is completed in a safe and careful manner. To work in a safe manner and report any health and safety issues to the supervisors.

12. Sales department policies and procedures
- Adheres to all rules and regulations expected of all staff in order to project the company image and professionalism
- Performs duties in accordance to the sales department policies and procedures in order to meet the company standard

13. Attendance & punctuality
- Reports for duty on time as scheduled by the management
