Human Resources Officer

**1. Job Summary**
The Human Resources Officer is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations, performance management, training, administration of HR policies, and ensuring compliance with labour laws and company procedures.
**2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Recruitment & Staffing**
- Arrange interviews and coordinate with hiring managers.
- Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding documents.
**B. HR Administration**
- Maintain and update employee records, HR database, and personnel files.
- Prepare HR letters such as confirmation letters, salary verification, warning letters, memo, and notices.
- Handle staff insurance, medical claims, and HR correspondence.
**C. Attendance & Payroll Support**
- Monitor, verify, and update attendance, leave, overtime, and claims data.
- Submit monthly payroll inputs to the Finance/Payroll team.
- Assist employees on payroll-related inquiries.
**D. Employee Relations**
- Handle employee queries, grievances, and workplace issues professionally.
- Support initiatives that promote a positive work culture.
- Assist in disciplinary procedures including issuance of counselling/warning letters.
**E. Training & Development**
- Coordinate training programs, registrations, attendance, and evaluation forms.
- Track employee training records and compliance requirements.
**F. HR Compliance**
- Ensure HR processes comply with the Employment Act 1955 and other statutory regulations.
- Prepare statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD Corp) when required.
**3. RequirementsEducation & Experience**
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in HR (fresh graduates may be considered).
**Skills & Competencies**
- Good knowledge of Malaysian labour law and HR practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and HR systems.
- Well-organised, proactive, and able to multitask.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
