Monitor workflow within the Master Data Management team, specifically on vendor master data functions for the APAC region.

Ensure that the creation and maintenance of master data records are performed in a timely manner and in accordance with procedures, quality standards, and rules.

Administer master data workflow tools, processes, and the execution of mass updates.

Ensure high quality and full validation of master data according to data governance standards and rules.

Supervise daily OpenText and Concur administrative tasks in accordance with global policies and in a timely manner.

Supervise on regular data cleansing activities to raise the quality of each record to target levels.

Support controls and regular checks to ensure compliance with internal control, standards, and rules.

Review master data reports and support month-end activities.

Maintain VMD and identify requirements to effectively track KPIs.

Maintain and ensure process workflow and documentation are up to date to the current processes.

Provide the first line of support to the business in investigating and solving master data issues of medium to a high level of complexity.

Identify, facilitate, and implement process improvement ideas to improve process efficiencies.

Innovation

Assist in decision support and financial analysis for the management to identify opportunities to improve the company’s financial and operational performance.

Propose, lead, integrate and develop continuous improvements on accounting/close processes.

Assist with system testing ensuring internal controls issues are detected, reported, and working as required, and assist the team with systems issues and raise service desk tickets.

Work on various projects, in various capacities, as requested by Management from time to time.

Execute adhoc tasks assigned by the Manager

Self-starter and independent

**Requirements**:
Qualification in Accounting at Diploma / Degree / MBA or equivalent professional qualification

Minimum of 8 years of working experience in the relevant field is required for this position (Preferably in a Shared Service environment)

At least 5 years full scope experience in Master Data Management process

Possesses strong analytical and critical thinking

Supervisory skills required

Lead on large-scale process improvement projects with team members

At least 5 years of knowledge of SAP system

Provide coaching and guidance to direct reports

Manage team member career development

Involved in SOX testing review process

Team backup arrangement plan

Knowledge in other language(s) Mandarin is an added advantage
