What you’ll do
- Lead and drive continuous improvement support within regional operations.
- Execute the continuous improvement strategy and roadmap agreed in Global Operations management.
- Assess, coordinate, and support activities, standards, tools, and systems related to continuous improvement.
- Adopt UPM Values and Aiming Higher mindset in daily work.
- Coach factory teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Enhance continuous improvement management systems globally with other regions.
- Ensure best practice sharing and collaboration between factories and terminals.
- Lead or coordinate regional improvement programs, portfolios, or projects.
Who you are
- You have a background in continuous improvement.
- You possess knowledge and experience in continuous improvement management systems, standards, and tools.
- You have beneficial knowledge and experience in labelstock production.
- You hold a technical education to degree level.
- You have a Lean Sigma Black Belt certificate.
- You are able to clearly communicate how continuous improvement drives operational excellence.
- You have proven leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
- You possess strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
