Supply & Inventory Professional

Sensata Technologies is looking for a demand planning specialist who will be responsible for the development and assessment of demand forecasts on designated product / program categories. In this position you will work with multiple internal departments as well as external vendors on countless analyses to determine the needed products and quantities for certain products / programs.

General Responsibilities
- Key participant in the creation of future capacity plans
- Collaborates on any communication with marketing, manufacturing and customer service to ensure accuracy and efficiency of message
- Organizes the defining of an integrated supply chain to produce sustained, timely performance on all accounts
- Key participant in the measuring and monitoring of specific product / program categories
- Key participant in in-depth analysis with large amounts of data to run various statistics and analyses on the company to help future predictability of demand planning

Experience / Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

General Responsibilities
- Create and analyze global product view of Supply and Demand
- Lead to work with key stakeholders to balance 0-18 months demand and supply
- Manage capacity constraint escalations up to 18 months
- Support allocation of raw material across multiple production sites
- Define & control Finished Good inventory level (Days on Hand)
- Support production site Supply Review meetings under the accountability of Production site GMs
- Maintain system parameter settings, min max, time fence, sourcing rule etc.
- Close collaboration with plants and internal stakeholders to create ad-hoc analyzes and create standards to support the decision-making processes throughout the organization
- Build a strong network and trustful relationships within the Global SIOP Organization and participate in new initiatives to establish supply chain excellence
- Participates in all stages of the monthly SIOP process
- Participates in Supply and Inventory Planning process improvements, work with cross-functional teams to optimize and standardize workflow to contribute for KPIs achievement (i.e. OTD, expedited freight, DOH inventory)
- Drive processes to achieve long-term supply planning visibility, accuracy and capability to achieve SIOP targets consistently
- Ensure process integrity and excellence through compliance with internal policies and controls.
