Purchasing Intern

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Purchasing Intern to join our team at Kenny Hills Hospitality Group. As a Purchasing Intern, you will get the chance to be involve in supporting our procurement activities and gaining hands-on experience in the hospitality industry. Your responsibilities will include assisting in updating the master list data, sourcing suppliers, comparing prices, filing and compilation of purchasing history and others.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist PSC team in identifying and listing down the potential new vendor by category.
- Assist PSC team to update master list data (backup) and ERP system for all KHHG brand/inter company.
- Assist PSC team to analyse and to compare onboard supplier and new suppliers pricing, distribution capabilities, quality, and service support.
- Assist PSC team for asset tagging listing, inventory procedure, and SKU balance check.
- Assist PSC team to finalize the total of SOP’s pertaining Procurement and Purchasing activities.
- Assist PSC team to handling on file compilation/catalogue, purchasing history.
- Performing any other ad-hoc task given by the management regarding procurement and purchasing activities.
**Requirements**:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or Diploma or Bachelor in Office System and Management.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Passion for the hospitality industry and eagerness to learn about purchasing processes.
**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: RM1,000.00 per month
