Production Programmer

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, maintain, and review product cost models for server racks, enclosures, CAC/HAC, caging, and related products.
- Calculate standard costs and perform variance analysis for production areas.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to estimate costs for new products and design changes.
- Analyze cost drivers in sheet metal fabrication, welding, coating, assembly, and packaging.
- Work with procurement and suppliers to validate raw material and component pricing.
- Monitor manufacturing efficiency, yield losses, and production waste that affect cost performance.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities through process improvement and material optimization.
- Ensure accurate cost data entry and maintenance in ERP systems (SAP).
- Prepare production cost reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in costing or manufacturing (preferably metal fabrication).
- Strong knowledge of CNC processes, welding, powder coating, and assembly.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with BOMs, routings, and time-study analysis.
- Good communication and teamwork skills; able to manage multiple costing projects under deadlines.
- Understand and follow environmental policies and EMS requirements.
- Report environmental matters to relevant officers and take proper actions in normal or emergency situations.
- Participate in environmental programs, training, and audits.
- Understand environmental impacts of work activities and support resource conservation (water, energy, paper).

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience in lean manufacturing or cost-optimization projects.
- Familiarity with CAD drawings and engineering change management.
- Understanding of design-for-cost and design-for-manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar QMS.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
