Specialist Cash Application **Overview of Position**: **What you will do**: - Allocate accurate payment to Accounts Receivable (AR). - Pay attention to details on customers’ remittance advice. Also, country requirement on taxation charges & banking fees as well as FOREX impacts. - Fixing errors, i.e. wrong allocation or wrong FOREX/Bank fees applied, when needed. - Clearing unapplied payments & unknown/unidentified payments in a timely manner. - Work together with Collections/Billing team on reconciliation of customer AR. - Prepare daily & weekly reporting to ensure updated Cash Book/Sheet & Collections Forecast in a timely manner. - Provide information to internal and external customers regarding customer remitted payment matters. - Ensure all customers supporting documentation in place with customer reference number or customer confirmation. - Work with accounting team to ensure all collections is captured correctly. Otherwise, need to work with accounting team to rectify the collections/cash inflow portion. Also, provide proof of remittance for audit purpose when required. - Initiate process improvements in Cash Application function. **What we need from you**: - Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role with proficiency in MS Excel - Previous experience in the telecommunications field preferred **Working at Speedcast**: At Speedcast, we want people that like adventure.
