**GRADE: Local Grade**

**WORKPLACE TYPE: On site**

The **General Worker** is responsible to performs a variety of tasks to support operations in Production line. Responsibilities include, assisting skilled workers and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Performing all required general work including, receiving, cleaning, fitting, packing, general housekeeping, and other duties as may be instructed to support the day-to-day production operations.
- Performing all work according to work order, load and unload materials as per requirement.
- Undertaking all necessary activities at production line including general maintenance activities of the work area, tools, machines, equipment and etc.
- Monitoring all machines and assist Technician in troubleshooting if required.
- Handling preparation needs for process.
- To take reasonable care not to put other people - fellow employees and members of the public - at risk by what you do or don't do in the course of your work.
- Other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned by the Technician and Area Leader.
- To report any near miss, unsafe acts/conditions and injuries, or illnesses you suffer as a result of doing your job.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Mandatory requirements:

- Must possess at least Higher Secondary/ SPM /STPM/ “A” Level/ Pre-U or equivalent.
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in related field is required for this position.

Desirable requirements:

- Able to assist to operate manual and semi auto equipment which requires physical strength.
- Good oral, written communication skills, basic math skills.
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities

Required behaviors and skills:

- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
- Physical fitness, ability to follow instructions, problem-solving skills, and good communication.
- Able to work at heights, lifting/handling heavy objects, and performing physically demanding tasks.
