**Responsibilities**:

- Work with other executives to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
- Analyse costs and prepare budgets.
- Plan workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
- Oversee production and maintenance to resolve issues.
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.).
- Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.).
- Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
- Ensure main and by-products meets quality standards.
- Regulate health and safety precautions.
- Report to upper management and government agencies.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as production director.
- Solid knowledge of production management.
- Familiarity of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
- Excellent communication ability.
- Outstanding organizational and leaderships skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Exceptional decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
- Possess Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in mechanical/chemical/marine or relevant engineering fields.
- Possess min. 2nd Grade Steam Engineer certificate(DOSH)
- Possess Dip. in Palm Oil Milling(T&M) and MPOB FFB grading certificate will be an added advantage.
